A limited-edition divinatory set by Lobster Moon.
This is a soulful, handcrafted set that transforms the traditional Mexican Lotería into a magical tool for divination. A lovingly curated set combining traditional Lotería cards with original writings, design, and ritual tools —created by Mariia Snebjørk Damkjær under her esoteric label, Lobster Moon.
The project was born from a deep respect for Mexican folk spirituality and bruja traditions, which are honored throughout the guidebook and the rituals included. The cards were gathered during her travels through the Yucatán Peninsula in spring 2025 —sourced from mercados and toy shops, each deck carrying the texture of everyday magic and cultural memory.
Two Deck Variants
Each set includes one of two card styles, both hand-stamped on the back with the title:
“Oráculo de la Lotería Mágica – Cartas del Destino”
🔹 Classic Deck (7 × 5 cm): Original Lotería cards with their charming scruffy edges and authentic size.
🔹 Bingo Sheet Deck (approx 8,5 × 5,5 cm): Slightly larger cards hand-cut from traditional bingo sheets, each with a unique backing (often printed on recycled paper)
No two decks are alike—each one full of character and spirit.
The Full Set Includes:
🔹One Lotería card deck (choose your version)
🔹A handmade recycled cardboard box, created in collaboration with Hans Knudsens Instituttet in Copenhagen
🔹A white organic soy tealight candle for ritual use
🔹A 36-page guidebook, hand-sewn with colorful thread and printed on recycled paper with words by Mariia Snebjørk Damkjær, featuring:
Traditional interpretations of all 54 cards
18–20 keywords per card
Custom spreads (including the Spiritual Path, Ancestor Message, and more)
Rituals for intuitive use, energy cleansing, and connection to spirit
