The Witch Market Manifesto
The Witch Market is a curated space for witches and magical creators of all paths. It is for those who work within the realm of magical creation through witchcraft, symbolism, ritual, intuition, weird ideas, and meaningful making, whether they name their practice witchcraft, art, devotion, design, or creation.
At its heart, the Witch Market is devoted to creativity and conscious making rooted in magical making. We are especially drawn to makers, artists, designers, and small businesses working with original ideas, DIY processes, and handmade or small-batch practices. This includes work that carries story and presence, whether newly made, reimagined, or thoughtfully curated vintage or antique pieces chosen for their history and occult or witchy resonance.
The Witch Market exists to support micro businesses and human-scale creation, guided by a quietly but clearly anti-capitalist ethos. By this we mean a move away from extractive, disposable, and profit-first systems, and toward people before profit, care before scale, and sustainability over endless growth.
This is not a space defined by trends, speed, or lowest price. It is a space where witchCRAFT is honoured as both magick and craft, and where value is found in skill, originality, and care.
This manifesto is not about exclusion, but about direction. The Witch Market naturally centres work rooted in witchcraft, ritual, symbolism, intuition, DIY culture, and conscious creation, and welcomes those who approach their work with respect for materials, process, and the wider ecosystem they are part of.
The Reader’s Lounge
The Witch Market includes a dedicated “Reader’s Lounge”, a unique and essential part of the market where divination is held as witchCRAFT in practice.
This is a space for tarot readers, palmists, clairvoyants, psychics, dream guides, rune readers, and other intuitive practitioners working with symbolic and intuitive systems. The Reader’s Lounge is not an add-on or entertainment, but a carefully held space for communication, reflection, and insight.
We welcome readers who approach their work with care, ethics, skill, and lived experience, and who understand divination as craft, language, and service within the wider magical ecosystem of the Witch Market.
Because the Witch Market is a living ecosystem. It grows slowly, intentionally, and collectively, guided by intuition, integrity, curiosity, and a shared devotion to witchcraft and magical making in practice.
We are especially drawn to:
• Witches and magical creators of all genders and paths
• Original, expressive work shaped by intention and skill
• DIY, handmade, small-batch, or thoughtfully curated practices
• Work rooted in witchcraft, ritual, symbolism, spirituality, or intuitive process
• Micro businesses and independent creators working at a human scale
• Readers who approach their work with care, ethics, skill, and lived experience, and who understand divination as craft, language, and service
If this manifesto resonates with you, you are welcome to apply. <3
