Meet the Camp Crew.:

Mariia

Witch-in-Chief

Mariia is the founder of both Copenhagen Occult Club (COC) and Witch Summer Camp — the witch who dreamed it up, shaped it into form, and gathered the international tribe who will bring it to life.

At camp, she will guide the flow of the gathering (or at least attempt to wrangle the chaos) together with the camp manager and the crew. She will hold the role of the camp’s tough-but-loving big sister — here to cheer you on, challenge you when needed, and offer a warm shoulder, witchy wisdom, or a magical kick in the butt if that’s what you need.

As both a woman and a witch, Mariia’s lifelong purpose is to build community in the magical realms—gathering witches and weirdos to learn, grow, weave power, and reclaim meaning in a late-stage capitalistic society designed to disconnect us from it.

Besides holding space for The Magician’s Workshop, she’ll also be joining the camp as a full participant alongside everyone else.

Caroline

Camp Manager

Our camp manager Caroline will be your go-to gal for all things practical on this summer camp. She might not be a witch herself, but she’s been a Girl Scout and Scout Leader for over 20 years, which means that she has plenty of experience creating engaging communities and experiences for - and with - women and girls. She’ll be sharing her experience with us on this trip, helping us make our time in the woods practically perfect.

Mélanie

Assistant & Project Manager

Mélanie is a green witch. She follows the celtic pagan calendar and likes to work with dark goddesses energies and worships godesses such as Hecate and Morghain.

In her non magickal daily life, she is a project manager, which is also the skill set she is bringing to the Witch Summer Camp organization, by helping Mariia with timelines, budget and various admin tasks.

She is also Mariia's assistant during the duration of the camp.

Eline

Camp Kitchen Witch

Eline is a chef, kitchen witch and owner of the business “Regenerativt Køkken” (The Regenerative Kitchen). She works in close relationship with nature, creating strictly seasonal food—mostly over open fire—using freshly harvested local vegetables, honey from her own bees, and wild herbs from the forest. Eline is a local in the Bidstrup Woods, where the camp takes place, and she will bring her heavy cast-iron pots, sourdoug and cooking spells.

Eline has cooked for many retreats and camps, ensuring that everyone is well-fed and deeply nourished, with care given to allergies and special dietary needs.

Charlotte

Camp Forest Guide & Practical Crew

Charlotte is one half of Fandens mælkebøtte, a small DIY operation brewing witchy goods with dirt under the nails and magic in mind. She’s a trained professional gardener with a deep love for plants, forests, botany, and collective ways of being.

At camp, Charlotte will guide optional walks into the local woods, sharing plant knowledge, local lore, and quiet forest wisdom. Her work is grounded in soil, curiosity, and the belief that plants are collaborators rather than resources.

Herb bitch extraordinaire. Rooted in soil, led by intuition.

Sanne

Kitchen Witch & Practical Crew

Sanne is the other half of Fandens Mælkebøtte, a small DIY operation brewing witchy goods with dirt under the nails and magic in mind. She is also a trained professional gardener, she teaches the coming generations of gardeners, and sharing her love of plants that way. Living in the countryside and exploring the forest local to Camp, fusing plant lore and magic in her work.

At camp, Sanne will be prepping breakfast with you all and baking afternoon cake. Sanne will also be available for plant knowledge and help.

Sanne works with plants in many forms, diving into Kitchen Witchery and Hedge Witchery, besides her work with Fandens Mælkebøtte.

Fia

Yoga Witch & Practical Crew

Fia is a firecracker yoga guide with over 10 years of experience and a playful, punk-spirited approach to practice. Her style is gentle flow, yin pauses, and intuitive movement.

At camp Fia will guide morning yoga as a sacred ritual —with humor, heart, and a little rebellion, blending gentle flow, yin pauses, and playful movement, offering a space held for you to arrive fully, trust your inner rhythm, and begin the day rooted in your own power.

Signe

Event Witch & Practical Crew

Signe is an experienced event coordinator with a deep connection to the forest and the moon. She’s practiced witchcraft for the last five years and is mainly inspired by shamanism and animism.

She lives with her husband and child in the countryside, close to the forest and the sea, with a bunch of animals and a big vegetable patch.

At camp Signe will do a little bit of everything practical and she put all the magical gift bags together.

Mariam

Photographer Witch

Mariam Zakarian is an artist, photographer and filmmaker who has worked professionally with photo and film since 2012.
She works primarily with dark portraiture and live music photography for which she won 5th place in the 2025 Gaffa Photo Awards Feature category.
Her work also involves creating music videos for underground acts and poetic art films.
Always inspired by nature and feminine power, she will be immortalizing the beautiful, ephemeral moments at Witch Summer Camp.
